A thermometer is passive, it records temperature but can do nothing to
change the environment. A thermostat is an active instrument, it
determines what the environment will be, it effects change in order to
create a climate.
The attitude of the leader, coupled with the positive atmosphere in an
organization, can encourage people to accomplish great things.
Consistent accomplishment creates momentum and momentum will generate
positive performance growth.
